ONALA Guest Speakers
Addiction is a disease that has faced much bias and judgement. It is important to have discussions surrounding addiction for the betterment of our society and the medical field.
AMSA hosted guest speakers from ONALA Recovery Center located in Pittsburgh, for a discussion of addiction from a medical perspective. We discussed physicians' roles in the opioid crisis as well as vital resources for support and recovery.

AMSA Research Fair
At this annual event, professors and researchers on campus present their current research projects to recruit potential students. Last year we had 30+ principle investigators and this year we are expecting even more! |

Annual EMT Event
During this event, participants are invited to take part in live demonstrations of actions Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) perform as part of their job. By taking part in this event, one is able to walk away with some basic knowledge concerning the job as well as an overall appreciation for our first responders! |
