Committees are the backbone of AMSA. Collectively, they help to plan, design, and execute almost every club function. As a result, they are an integral component of AMSA, thus getting involved in one can be an important first step for anybody wanting to get more active in our organization! Our current, year-round committees consist of: Public Relations (PR), Volunteer Clinical Research (VCR), and Fundraising. While they each are responsible for their respective roles, collaboration between committees and the rest of the executive board is essential to our overall success. In addition, ad-hoc committees are at times necessitated to help plan larges events or other functions that require help that isn't necessarily respective to one of the year-round committees. In the past, we have had ad-hoc committees to assist our Vice Presidents, to help plan escape room events, pre-health summits, and formals. With AMSA, there are always ways to get involved!
