Medicine, and healthcare in general, is simultaneously becoming more specific and more interconnected. This is evident in the number of organizations on the Pitt campus which have a very focused charter, address issues, and host events related to specific parts of healthcare. The goal of AMSA has always been to view healthcare from a larger perspective while simultaneously investigating specific issues in healthcare. This can be done through collaborations with other organizations on campus. Thus, the objectives of the Public Relations Committee include the following:
1. To plan and coordinate any and all AMSA activities and events which involve other organizations, both on and off campus
2. To increase the general Pitt student's knowledge of AMSA and it's activities
3. To assist the Executive Board in managing the Board's projects when necessary
