Branka Karan
Branka Karan is currently a senior at the University of Pittsburgh with a major in Biological Sciences. Her future plans include attending medical school and working as a family medicine or emergency medicine physician. She is also interested in pursuing preventive medicine and family practice because she is fascinated and excited by the potentials of early detection and prevention of diseases. Branka is passionate about volunteering in her community and has recently begun organizing a charity for kids at Pittsburgh's Children's Hospital. She is also a strong advocate for the March of Dimes and regularly assists the elderly with grocery shopping. Branka is very excited about medical school and can't wait to start the journey of becoming a physician!
